• Limit time in the sun, especially during the peak hours between 10:00 am – 3:00 pm when UV rays (the most damaging kind!) are at their highest
  • Play in the shade if you’ll be outside for a long time
  • Always use sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30 – even in the winter!
  • Protect your skin and your eyes from the sun’s damaging rays – wear protective clothing and sunglasses
  • Avoid sunburns. Too many sunburns when you’re young can lead to skin problems in adulthood – including skin cancer.
