Embracing Survivorship For childhood cancer patients and their parents, the experience of completing treatment is a time of celebration and hope as well as anxiety and fear. We believe knowledge is a powerful tool to combat that anxiety and created this video to educate survivors of the late effects that can develop from their cancer and treatment, discuss future challenges they may face and reinforce the importance of long-term follow-up care.
Thanks to the American Legion Child Welfare Foundation, Inc. for providing the funds to produce this very important video.
