Help Our Cause

There are many ways to partner with the NCCS. The following information provides a summary of various options.

Corporate Partners

Partnerships between corporations and non-profits are an effective way to show what is important to you and your company. According to a recent survey, 79% of consumers said they would be likely to switch from one brand to a comparable one if the other brand is associated with a good cause.  Click here to view all partners.

If you are interested in partnering with NCCS, please contact our Director of Marketing, Lori Millner, (lmillner@theNCCS.org) for more information.

Volunteer Events

Walking, bowling, fishing, cooking... whatever your passion, use your creative energy to support children with cancer! Every year, hundreds of volunteers across the United States donate their time and talents to raise money for the NCCS in their local community.  Basic events can include something as simple as having your employer sponsor a "dress down day" where employees can pay a set amount to wear casual clothes or have friends over for a game night and have them ante up for the cause!  Many times young children want to help – events such as a bake sale, car wash or lemonade stand with a portion of the proceeds coming to NCCS are some great "kid-friendly" ideas. Teaching children how to support a cause is a priceless gift that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

If you are planning a fundraising event to benefit the NCCS, let us know!   Please complete the volunteer event application and send to Trish Collins at tcollins@theNCCS.org, faxed to 314-241-1996 or mailed to the NCCS/One S. Memorial Drive/Suite 800/St. Louis, MO  63102.

Whatever you choose to do, your support is deeply appreciated. No gift is too small, no idea too crazy!

Humanitarian Award Dinner

In addition to the hundreds of events across the country each year, the NCCS' signature event is the Humanitarian Award Dinner. Held in St. Louis, Missouri, the Dinner honors renowned individuals for their contributions to children's health, education and welfare causes, and presents an evening of entertainment for NCCS supporters and friends. As the NCCS' single largest fundraising night of the year, the Dinner raises awareness for all children with cancer, honors those who fight for families and children, and brings together tireless advocates and supporters of the cause.

The 2012 event will feature “An Evening with Julie Andrews” to celebrate the organization’s 25th anniversary. Plan to spend an extraordinary evening with legendary Academy Award winning actress and entertainer, Julie Andrews, on Saturday, September 29, 2012.
